We will definetly see jellyfish in most of our marine habitats, particularly at night.
Go beyond one species!
It would be good to learn about the phylogeny of these organisms. What phylum are they in? Why are they classified the way they are? The Piles of Paper at Brill could be helpful!
What kind of fossil record to they have?
What type of life cyles? To they go through different phases?
What is there stinging mechanism and how does it work?
Give examples of interesting jellyfish. What kind will we encounter?
