The importance of Plants

I am a 15 year old who is also doing reasearch on Medicinal Plants of the Rainforset. I beleive that day by day cures for HIV, Cancer, etc. are getting destroyed by greed. How I see it is we are acutally killing ourselves by killing the anchient rainforests. People for millions of years have been using herbal remedies for desises now we must see out the plants that people need instead of killing them.
