While snorkling off the southwestern coast of Barbados on Dec. 9, 2002, I also saw what appeared to be a sea snake. It was light in color, tan or yellow, with dark spots. The locals told me that no such snakes exist, and that I must have seen an eel. I have developed my picture, and it does not look like an eel.
