Topic (draft #1) Rights of Indingenous Peoples

Agenda 21 - Chapter 26 in the Convention of Biodiversity highlights the importance of indingenous peoples and the role they play in protection of biodiversity and information (i.e. medicinal effects of plants, etc. Costa Rica has both bills and laws passed with regards to indigneous peoples and natural resources. There are also groups set up to ensure these rights. I want to explore some of these laws/regulations and the effects they are having on the country.
