The Evolution and Predatory Behavior of Caribbean Sharks (Draft #1)

Many scuba divers travel to the Bahamas in order to dive with the sharks and witness the behavior of these fascinating creatures firsthand. Sharks have inhabited the earth for millions of years, and my discussion will include information about the evolution of these fish from prehistoric times to the present day. I will also identify and discuss the basic biological characteristics the shark species found in Caribbean waters. I will pay particular attention to the predatory behavior of tropical sharks.
