I plan to talk about the use of halophytes in commercial agriculture. halophytes are plants which can use water with different salinity levels. Recently researchers have been looking at the possible use of these plants for poorer coastal regions. While no halophytes are delicious, they can be used as feed for animals which will then free up other land for human food. In my report I will look at the possible use of these plants, how they will effect the commercial agriculture industry and wheter they are sustainable or not.
more to come.
