I am planning on presenting various social, environmental and political movements that have been organized in Costa Rica. I have studied what the ecofeminist movement has meant for the U.S., and I would like to learn more about the significance of it in a country like Costa Rica. I will focus on grassroots movements that are directly controlled by locals in Costa Rica. I may also contrast these movements with some of the larger movements that are internationally funded, in a top down style. I will provide a much more detailed explaination in a few days.
