Land Use and/or Ecological Restoration in Costa Rica (Draft #1)

I am very interested in land use and restoration. I have done a fair amount of research on these topics in regards to the United States and the ecosystems found therein. I think it would be worthwhile to look at these issues as they pertain to Costa Rica. I have yet to delve into the important considerations of this topic in terms of Costa Rican ecosystems, but I plan to do so very soon. I am simply proposing this area as my topic to present while in Costa Rica.
