Pit tagging

I am participating in an extracurricular group whose focus is on Leatherback turtles. We are making a turtle model and need to know as much as possible on pit tagging. Please write back with any information you can give us.

P.S.- We are making the life-size turtle model for the convention in Philadelphia in a few weeks. (I'm not sure if you would know what I'm talking about.)
