Good Idea

I think this is a great topic. As far as high schools go, our enitre culture demands results in teh form of standardized, predetermined tests. (IN Texas, we us the TAAS, for example.) These tests are in themselves unbiased, I feel, but expecting kids to be accountable on the tests in unfair. Rich kids are predestined to do better, as they can afford tutors, private schools, and have a more conducive family situation. Testing wears out the creativity and opportunities offered to schooled kids. (kind of a Foucault argument....)
