What social boundaries are you referring to that are so frustrating? If I am not mistaken, your warhorse here for months has been all about the dating game and how you couldn't be part of it because you were short.

Now, you tell us you can "tolerate" that, but now it's all these other "social boundaries" that frustrate you.

I can only surmise that a lot of your friends must tease you for being short and that you are often "embarrassed" at being short. You are very self-conscious and I'm afraid there isn't much one can do for that other than hope that the next day is a better day. Every day can't be a downer.

If I were you, I would try (as I do) a simple experiment before proceeding with any limb-lengthening surgery. Imagine an attaché case that's about 3-4 inches thick, but made of light sturdy plastic. You walk into a cocktail party (or in a bar or in a crowded room) with one of those, and discreetly plop it on the floor and stand on it. Man, what a treat! Totally different perspective -- and fun! And nobody will ridicule you because half the people won't notice, and those who do will realize why you're doing it and will understand.

Being short is no fun. And being four inches taller can change your life -- if only for a little while.
