We are in the process of re-analyzing exactly what we are going to focus on as we explore the history of the use of rape as a weapon in war, as well as some possible biological reasons for it. We obtained the book
_Rape Warfare_ (Allen, 1996) and a transcript of a United Nations meeting on Violence against women in the former Yugoslavia (now Bosnia-Hertzegovinia). The only way we can relate rape used in war to surveys given to college students is to concentrate on people who have had experience with rape or sexual assault and find out more about their perpetrator's relationship to them and their possible motives. It might look something like this:
