chris,
sorry my progress report is late, but i have really made no progress. I have been waiting for you to respond to my proposal because i really don't know where to go from here. i don't know if you think my project is okay, or completly unworkable. since doing my poster topic presentation and writing my first proposal, i have realized that sociobiology and its relationship to good and evil is much more complicated than i had origianlly thought. i would like to get at the idea that sociobiology kind of works in opposition with morals and that the two kind of balance each other out. i would like to do some kind of survey in lecture next wednesday getting at weather peoples morals are more group promoting or individual promoting and where people draw the line between helping their group and serving their own best interests. i would still like to do the first part of my proposed research about doing a analysis of the major morals in the major world religion...but i am not sure how to go about it or if it is even relevant. please respond to my initial proposal. i need feedback and guidance. i will probably come talk to you early next week too, just so i can get on the right track and get moving.
