Vine Infestations

This article submitted by Bryan Rayle, James Krapp, Melissa Dalton, Kate Kelsey on 9/24/97.

Idea: Do vines grow and manifest themselves in such a manner that a pattern can be obtained; is it possible for us to obtain a biased environment for each vine? We feel that we can determine a preference of a vine for one type of tree over another.

Method: Have colleagues obtain statistics on appropriate lab date. Data will be collected from Western Woods, a woods on Miami's Western campus. The data collected will include the number of vines present and what species of trees they live on. Such patterns will determine preferences in the growth of the plant.
