Depositional Environment of Route 1 Liberty Formation

Everything is going well except the outside time constraints on Lisel and I. We went to Route 1 on November 5th, and did a lot of sampling. We worked throughout the shale and limestone layers and took many randoms samples for collecting our data. We recorded the types of species and the numbers of each that we found, whole and fragments. I think that we found a lot of good data. Then, I (Erin) went back out on Novemeber 11th, and worked on another sample area across the street, to get more data so that we can compare, contrast, and do statistical analysis on with that computer program. Like I said in class, now that we have to rewrite our proposal and do more research, we are finding it difficult to find time outside of class to meet. We both have jobs, she is on the equestrian team, and I work with the women's basketball team. It is hard to find a time where we can sit down for a couple hours and do this together. But other than that we are doing fine. We hope to go out into the field one more time. Then maybe we can set up an appointment to see you and share our data. Thanks!
