11/3/97
Group met at library to finish discussing Final Proposal. We then switched to the computer lab in Hughs and typed the proposal and put it on the web .
11/2/97
Group met to find more articles as references for our project.
10/29/97
Group met with Hays Cummins to help clear up how a proposal is written and gave us insite and ideas to help us along in our brainstorming. We also discussed the problems we had when we first went out in the field to do our first field collection.
9/28/97
Group met at Shriver.Jason drove us all out to St.Rt1 Brookville ,Ind. to do our first field collection. After a few minutes of confusion of where the Liberty began and ended we strung up our transect and started collecting. A big thank you to Scott and Dave who scaled the tretorous overhang of the Liberty formation . We found out how stressful a sciencentist would be when his field collection does not go smoothly .

Introspecies Size-frequency Distribution of Rafinesquina .........

12/5/97 After thursday nights meeting with Hays Cummins, group is split into two working sections . Jason and Michelle will do research and write paper of project . Scott and Jason will make charts , graphs , and illistrations and make overhead copies for presentation .
Scott and Dave plan to meet Monday at 7pm. in Hays Cummins lab to finish compiling data .

12/9/97 Group should meet to combine data and papers, charts, and graphs. Practice giving our presentation .

12/10/97 Presentations of projects have been moved from wen. afternoon to Wen . night . Meet at 7pm. in Boyed hall second floor , for presentations of class projects .

12/1/97 Jason created data spreadsheet and began entering data .

12/2/97 Michelle and Jason worked in lab entering data .

12/3/97 Whole group will work entering data on spreadsheet in shifts in lab .

12/4/97 Group will again enter data in shifts in lab and meet Hays Cummins at 8:15 pm , with finished data spreadsheet .

11/14/97 Jason began working on identifing and measuring the specimins from the samples we collected from the State Route 1 Brookville , Indiana collection site . Michelle droped off copies made of our data sheet .

11/17/97 Jason and Scott worked on sample collection bags filling in Data sheets .

11/18/97 Jason , Michelle , and Dave worked on more sample collection bags .

11/19/97 Michelle and Dave finish filling out data sheets for the last of the sample collection bags .

11/21/97 After class our group met breifly to disscuss plans of inputting our data on to a excell program data sheet and use formulas to find results of our data . Hope everyone had a good and safe holliday !!!!

12/2/97 Members of group contacted to get together to start entering data on an excell program data sheet . ONLY 8 DAYS TILL PROJECT IS PRESENTED !!!!!!!!!!

11/12/97
Group met at HAys Cummins lab and put together a data sheet to organize our data . We organized our field collection specimins for easy accessability . We started compiling our data and only were able to go through three field collection bags . We also learned how to use a caliper to measure our specimins . We plan to meet as often as we can in the lab to get through the 70 bags from our two part field collection .

Scott and Dave droveout to st.Rt. 1 Brookville , Ind. and compleated field collection of two transects of the Liberty Fm. outcrop .

11/10/97
Jason and Michelle will drive out to St.Rt. 1 Brookville , Ind. and finish collecting on the remaining two transects in time before colder weather and snow increase . All will plan to meet in near future to compile data from field collection .
