Liquid or frozen precipitation
Lowest surface pressure
Maximum 500 mb wind speed
Lowest 500 mb height and temperature
Will weather conditions improve or deteriorate by Sunday?Why?
What was the most interesting weather to occur at your study site
during the week? What caused it?
This exercise should be posted to the web and a "hard copy" report should also be turned in.Besides just the "raw numbers," write a weather prognosis of the weather leading up to 2/13/98 and going beyond a few days based upon your knowledge and what you've found out.Include printouts of the pertinent maps/official text forecasts.
Be sure to bring surface and upper level maps into your analyses! You will present your findings to the class on 2/16/98.
