Atlantic Closed Down for the Season?

I'm sorry to say it, but the Atlantic looks like it is done for the Year! Upper level troughs, strong westerlies dipping well below the Tropic of Cancer, etc.


Was this due to El Nino? I dunno. I'll bet anytakers a coke that there won't be any other stroms for the rest of September! Anyone willing to take me on? Climatology is on YOUR side!
