Erika Opens her EYE!

Erika has steadily intensified today while drifting slowly northward away from the Caribbean islands. She is looking better as time goes on. The upper level environment is very interesting in that hostile westerlies are only a short distance away. Yet she perserves. The latest RECON reported a central pressure of 960 mb. Erika's pressure dropped about 22 mb today! Not Bad!
