Huricane Erika 11:00 EDT

Erika has reached Hurricane Strength. She has impressive Deep Convection that has now moved over her center and she is alos showing well defined convective banding. Shearing has been much reduced.
Her future path is uncertain, but after leaving the NE Caribbean region, she may threaten the Bahamas. Future intensification will be dependent upon the development of upper level high pressure. We shall see!
