Reasons for choosing specific websites

The websites we chose were particularly helpful with our introductory research, as the websites covered a broad range of information, communicated in both a scientific as well as 'reader-friendly' language. Two in particular, NOAA and the NASA (GISS) sites, will prove to extremely important research tools as they provide recent as well as archived data, will full visual representations of that data to further enhance their argument(s).
