Global Climate Change -Western Program-Miami University

Milutin Milankovitch, a Serbian astrophysicist dedicated his career to understanding and developing a mathematical theory of climate based on the seasonal and latitudinal variations of solar radiation received by the Earth. The overall theory Milankovitch envisioned can be broken into three main parts or cycles. Eccentricity, Precession and Obliquity. Which he believed to heavily influence long term global climate change. This study examines data from multiple sources in an attempt to determine if Milankovitch's theory can be matched with other climate change data.
