The Atlantic Hurricane Season had 26 named storms in 2005. Don't despair, we have 85 Days before the 2008 hurricane season ends!!

Nature's Show: A Visible image of Hurricane Bonnie, 08/23/98 @9:45am, 190 miles east of San Salvador Island, Bahamas. Bonnie was stationary and paused to recurve to the north--her central pressure had dropped to 957 mb, 28.29 inches. Yesterday at this time her central pressure was ~980mb, a remarkble drop! Outflow seems a little restricted on the west side of the storm.
