Blue Honeycreeper Size: 4 1/2" (11.5 cm); 13.5 g. Diet: Eats many seeds and many fruits, especially berries. Also drinks flower nectar (while perching). Searches foliage and bark for insects, or catches insects from the air. Voice: Mostly a few high, thin notes: tseet or chaa. Status: Common in many areas, but declining in number in some areas as human population increases. Most abundant in southern Caribbean-side areas. Cool Fact: Also known as Red-Legged Honeycreeper.
