Three-Wattled Bellbird Size: Male: 12" (30 cm), 220 g; Female: 10" (25 cm), 145 g. Diet: Fruits, mainly those of trees in the family Lauraceae (e.g., avacado). Typically grabs fruits while perched, but occasionally makes a short sally to snatch a fruit while in flight. Voice: Some notes are distinctively bell-like (hence the name), mixed with staccato notes, whistles, and more rolling notes: BONK seee k' k' see k'berk, or BONK see k' k' berk see see see BONK.
