Excellent Topic. You've covered just about everything!
We will probably see some alligators on our visit to the Everglades. Your outline is solid and I know that, if you use this in the classroom, your students will enjoy the topic.
This alligator literally split the class in two" as it moved from one side of the trail to the other!!
I'd like to see a few more articles that broaden your resource base. You might also check my science article database. I have a few articles on crododilians.

When I was a kid, I would be in the swamps of Louisiana fishing. Every now and then, I'd come across an alligator. These are terrific animals.
