Mangrove Ecology in Central America and the Tropics

I don't really have the specifics on everything yet, I just don't want anybody to steal my idea! Some early ideas include the benefits of mangroves on coastal areas. How important are they to ocean fish as breeding grounds? What current environmental pressures are facing them? What are the current positions by governments on the conservation of the mangroves? If you have any ideas, let me know. Just remember, this is still very early in development.
