Some further suggestions you might explore:

  • Compare species diversity between the pacific and atlantic oceans. Why are the oceans so different?
  • It would be very important to inform the class of mangrove reproductive stragtegies
  • Do you have examples of mangrove ecosystems that have been devastated by human activity?
  • Provide examples of how humans have directly and indirectly benefited from mangrove ecosystems.
