The Monteverde Cloud Forest - Draft #1

Sorry this is a day late, spring break has been hectic!
I would like to talk about the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the issues it faces today. I have seen many articles within the past three years about the effects of deforestation and global warming on the cloud forest and its inhabitants, and I thought it would be interesting to learn about the cloud forest and its history, what living things inhabit the cloud forest, and what problems and challenges it faces today. My brief outline is as follows:

I. History (including human invlovement such as indigenous peoples and the Quaker settlers)

II. Inhabitants
A. Plants
B. Animals

II. Environmental Issues
