Some other questions to consider:
* Who lived in Costa Rica before European settlement?
* What are the important indigenous peoples living in Costa Rica today? Where do they live? How are they treated by the Costa Rica Society?
* Is Costa Rica a democracy? Does it have an army? How are poiltics integrated into every day life?
* How do Costa Ricans feel about education?
