I'll have to be honest and say I don't know a lot of information about marine life, having lived in Ohio all my life. I've always been fascinated by those organisms that use toxins/poisons for predation and protection. It's amazing to me that creatures as small as some in the ocean can be so deadly and toxic to humans. I hope to observe some of these species on our trip, of course from a safe distant. I think I can get rid of some fears and misconceptions by researching this topic in more detail and observing them in their natural habitat.
