Tropical Field Courses -Western Program-Miami University



I will be discussing communiity-based conservation (CBC) initiatives. This is important to me because I believe that stakeholder involvement is vitally important to the success of any conservation initiave. I plan on teaching the class a bit of the history of CBC, give examples from Costa Rica, and outline recommendations foir successful CBC implementation.
