The Purpose of my research paper is to delve into the current issues of the destruction of natural reefs and environmentalistsÕ effort to create reefs to house the current marine species losing their natural reefs before they are lost. I plan on doing this by focusing on FloridaÕs artificial reef program and research that has been conducted on artificial reef ecology.

1. Introduction
a. What is an artificial reef?
b. What makes up an AR?
i. Materials
c. Where are these located?
i. All over the world, but as seen in the course, Florida had numerous
d. What is the purpose?
i. Make up for the destruction of natural reefs.
2. FloridaÕs Artificial Reef Program
a. Location
i. Keys a major
b. Purpose
c. Recreation
i. Recreational diving sites
d. What makes up FloridaÕs artificial reef complexes?
3. Attraction to artificial reefs
a. Reef microorganisms
b. Chemoattractants
c. Benthic communities
4. Artificial Reef Ecology based on research
a. Feeding habits of fish around the reefs
b. Roles of structural features
c. Windmill farms and their potential to hurt or help marine ecology
