1.Does beauty effect your expectations that you have for your friends? (current or future)

II. Specific Predictions

1.We think that beauty will effect the expectations of your friends. The more beautiful a

friend is, the higher the expectations for him/her will be.

III. Preliminary Research Design

1.Survey and observation

a. Survey will include various pictures of peers with varying levels of beauty and questions

about perceived expectations of said peers.

b. Observations of friendships in social settings
