History and Socio-Cultural Construction of Contemporary (homo)sexuality

Via a multiple choice paper survey, I want to evaluate a small sample of contemporary human (homo)sexuality and sexual behavior. I will analyze contemporary human sexual behavior using historical (Puritanism to Post-WW II ÒgayÓ port cities) and socio-cultural (post-stonewall, post-2nd-wave American Feminism and nature vs.: nurture and the Ògay geneÓ) backgrounds to analyze profound human (homo)sexuality.
My survey will be given to at least 60-80 Miami students, with various demographics being considered (race, age, socio-economic and parental education amongst others). Questions from KinseyÕs (famous American sexologist) survey are a potential source of inspiration- as a survey given at Miami every decade since the 1960Õs. Dr: Robert Hatfield ( human sexuality prof at the Univ: of Cincinnati) has also been contacted in hopes of gaining his survey.
My project is important because it will show peopleÕs actual sexual behavior, instead of using looser Òcommon-senseÓ perceptions.
