Hmmm...

This sounds pretty interesting and though I've noticed from some of the other responses that some people are going to jump at your initial presuppositions, it is something that has come up multiple times in other readings and class (ex. SS this semester, where the Russian women who seem to have less power in the household are the ones who have more faith or are depicted praying or asking Mary or God for help...). Holly's comment about women not being priests in the Catholic Church does bring up an interesting point if your hypothesis is true. You might also want to add a question about if the person who is taking the survey prays never/sometimes/often or if they go to church on a regular basis, etc. to see if there is a difference in practice in addition or perhaps along with a difference in beliefs. Just a thought. Good luck!
