I agree with the other reviewers about including half-sibs, since that directly relates to a testable theory. Also, it is too abstract to ask someone who they'd give their life for. Come up with families of questions, and use scenarios where appropriate, like:

John is seventeen and has been forced to share his room with his new half-brother Mike, who is fifteen. There is a small room that's still big enough for Do you think John's parents are being

very unfair, kind of unfair, reasonable, generous, very generous..

You can change specific variables in passages like this to test your ideas--for example some people might get a passage that states Mike is 5 years old, or where Mike is changed to a full brother, or a sister.
