Our research idea is testing to see whether or not there is a correlation between political views and affiliation and environmental sensitivity. Specifically, we are testing to see if as people's ideal swing more to the left (or liberal), if they become more environmentally conscious.

Hypothesis: as people become or are more liberal, they are more environmentally aware.

We will test this by doing a survey discussing both political ideas and affiliation, and well as environmental topics to see if the correlation indeed exists. The survey will consist of between ten and twenty questions. We will pass them out across the campus, in order to ensure that we get a good cross-section. We hope to pass out between 100-150.
