Interesting topic

I think this could be a very interesting topic that could yeild controversial results. I know that people are tricky. They don't want to fess up to their sometimes "shallow" (sorry to offend if I did) need to date only for looks. Plus, I am wondering if beauty is deeper then culture. For instance, you would think that men would want to mate with sturdier, wide hipped women becuase they would be more likely to live during child birth and continue the male's genes. And perhaps this was the way it was during times when life was hard and there weren't the modern conveniences of hospitals, doctors, and medicine. I don't know. I am just spouting things I thought might be interesting to look at as well.
