I agree with the other comments about being specific about the kind of jealousy you want to examine, since it is a very broad area of human behavior. I like your specific predictions. You may get some insights in looking at the extremes as case studies--people who are hyper-jealous all the time, or people who seem impervious to jealous feelings.
