this is a really interesting idea, but very theoretical. i'm not sure how you will incorporate data research. you're on your own, there. however, one idea that came to mind is examining government. it seems like an anarchist society would be a more natural environment for natural selection, whereas a society with a solid governmental structure might inhibit the natural selection process. i don't know if you want to incorporate governmental philosophy into your paper, but it's an idea.
