Kristen and Kate-

You have asked some very interesting questions, but your hypothesis may be too general and hard to assess. Maybe you could look at a specific aspect of religion (i.e. how women and men view God). Are you going to stick to one religion, one sect of a certain religion? If not how are you going to differentiate between beliefs and their value? You may need to be more specific in your target population and questions before beginning your surveys.
