Hi,

A very nice start! We were excited to read your proposal and look forward to working with you.

Here are some comments:

--Good organization
--Be sure to make very clear predictions and hypotheses that aren't buried in the text. Not really sure what you're doing and why. Where do your predictions come from? Is it a guess?
--Some of your claims overreach a bit
--sentence 6--reasoning, not rationalization
--Literature review is OK BUT mostly books. We bet there are journal articles out there! See Einhorn and Hogarth (sp); more from Kahanaman and Tversky (spelling) Look at journal of behavioral decision making; Society of Judgment and Decsion Making Website
--Always cite your source in the body of the text for major claims of fact and/or theory
--Experimental Design looks good and well thought out! Why did you choose these tasks and not others?
--Don't forget to develop an "Informed Consent" Form
--Nice touch on the Post-Experiment Survey
--Methods: Need some Stat References
--Nice time-line but maybe a bit aggressive!

Best, Hays and Chris
