Architectual Styles and Peoples' Behavior

We plan to research the psychological affects that different architectural interiors have on people. We will determine how light/dark and color affect mood. People will be asked to describe what they associate with light and dark interiors and color slides/interiors they are shown. Our hypothesis is that people will react differently to different balance schemes of colors and will, for the most part, react positively to light interiors and negatively to dark interiors. Furthermore, that people will have positive reactions to multiple colors that are balanced appropriately according to their placement on a color wheel and value scale. (more info soon to follow...)
