Hello,

You guys are off to a fine start. And I'm looking forward to learning about what you find out.

Some important things that need to be done prior to your next submission:
* There is no connection with the literature on deforestation and climate change. Your study needs to be put into a context of what others have done before you. While you have included a bibliography, these references and others need to be integrated into the body of your work. This is very important
* I might leave the pans out for longer than 5 hours. But, you'll be able to find out if you need more time or not!
* What types of data analyses do you plan on doing?

So, a fine beginning. Let me know how I can further help.

All the best,
Hays
