You say that the music "needs to be implemented correctly... for if it isn't, it can be very distracting to the mind" and that there is a "good rhythm." If there is a "good rhythm" isn't there also a bad? From the data you are collecting there could be negative effects of listening to music too, couldn't there?
To accurately state that "everyone listens to music" I believe you need a statement about how any rhythm and even animals make music in it's most basic definition, and therefore is inescapable, and that is why everyone listens to music.
