I am now one of those weird people who find talking to plants interesting. We have decided that we will be both verbally abusive and kind to these plants. As controls, we will be reading a non-emotional passage (probably out of the NS reader :D) and a group that we just plain ignore. We plan on using bean plants, which have a good swift growth rate and many things that are easy to measure such as height, # of leaves, leaf size, stem thickness, etc. Pretty exciting, huh?
