Intro: The purpose of this lab is to determine the corilation between the lunar cycle and its affect on the moods of Miami University students. We think that there will be a direct link between the lunar phases and the general moods of Miami students. Though internet sources we have assertained that some people believe that a direct corilation between the moon cycles and either moods or health does in fact exist. Research has been done to relate human activity to tidal shifts, however, we have not, up to this point conducted such reasearch ourselves. The outcome of this experiment may show that there are more than internal factors conducting ones mood.

Materials/Methods: Other than a survey that we wrote (see below), we do not have any other materials. At the end of our research, we will have interviewed 1200 subjects, ranging in age, graduating class, and gender. The method that we will be following is straight forward. Every day for a complete lunar cycle, the four of us will interview 10 people (40 people per day) in various locations throughout the campus between 6pm and 9pm. We chose these hours because it is a convenient time for our team and because most people are aware of thier moods by that time. We will simultainiously be surveying ourselves, but keeping that data seperate from the other data. We will also interview our class, so they can critique our survey and understand our project. Once we complied the data we will look for patterns and make conclusions.
