leaf weight

Just curious . . . won't the weight of the leaves be altered by dew that early in the morning? It probably wouldn't affect the differences between the trees, but wouldn't it affect the differences in the days? If one day there is dew, and the day after, there is not as much, then the leaves will weigh less and might give the impression that less leaves fell that day. Or maybe I'm missing something, I don't know! :-) I like your idea though and will be interested in hearing the results.
