A few questions

Hi Lauren:

This sounds like a really interesting project. How many people are you planning to interview? Will these be people living along the creek or will you interview children who have only played in the creek at some time or other? What questions do you plan to ask so that you can best elicit attitudes toward the creek and toward nature, generally? Are you planning to include your own reminiscences?

I think you are correct in focusing on bacteria. How will you measure these? You might want to look at Standard Methods for Water And Wastewater Analysis to see how bacterial counts are made and what equipment you will need.

Will your project have an historical component? An aesthetic component? Will you consider ethical issues regarding our responsibility to the creek?

We can talk about these in the next few weeks.
